Aboriginal Healing Foundation

A three-year $1,800,000 agreement was signed with the Aboriginal Healing Foundation to deliver recovery and healing programs in Inuvialuit communities beginning in 2004. The first year included a youth and family program in Aklavik, a drop-in program for male survivors of the residential school system in Inuvik, a community wellness program in Tuktoyaktuk, a youth counselling program in Paulatuk and the On the Land program for youth and families both in Ulukhaktok (Holman) and Sachs Harbour.
