Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills for the position of Executive Assistant based in Inuvik, NT. As the Executive Assistant, you are part of a team of mature professionals that maintain a dynamic corporate office.



Responsibilities include providing administrative support to the IRC Chair & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Senior Management team at IRC. Also acts as the front-line representative for the IRC Chair & CEO and Senior staff. The Executive Assistant manages the appointment calendar for the IRC Chair & CEO and coordinates meetings as requested, including sending out meeting invitations, booking meeting rooms, setting up required IT equipment, and ordering refreshments. The Executive Assistant coordinates travel for the IRC Chair & CEO and Senior staff and provides general office support. The Executive Assistant will provide support and backup to IRC Reception staff. They will assist in the preparations for IRC Board Meetings including preparing information binders for all Directors, reserving meeting rooms, arranging refreshments, and coordinating logistics for board members including travel and accommodations.

The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in Office or Business Administration or equivalent education. Experience includes at least five (5) years of working in an office environment.

Flexibility and the ability to multi-task in a high energy environment are ideal assets. Knowledge of the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, including demographics, values, culture, and history are desirable. Ability to travel within the ISR periodically is required.

Priority consideration will be given to beneficiaries of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement.
