The purpose of the Federal Day Schools Class Action (FDSCA) Settlement Agreement is to address harm suffered as a result of Canada’s establishment, management, and funding of Federal Day Schools.

Elders Benefit Payments of $500 are available each year in December to all Inuvialuit beneficiaries over the age of 60.  Inuvialuit Regional Corporation will be distributing payments to Community Corporations, mailing payments to those outside the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, and electronically depositing payments to those registered for direct deposit December 2.

After many months of planning and preparation, Canadian North and First Air have launched their first-ever combined flight schedule, with all flights within it now marketed and sold under the unified name ‘Canadian North.’ From today onwards, Canadian North customers will be able to travel and ship across its vast network of 24 northern communities, from its southern gateways of Ottawa, Montreal and Edmonton, with seamless interline connections to destinations throughout Canada, the US and beyond. 2019 marks the second year of Inuvialuit Summer Literacy Camps in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, organized by the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation and Frontier College. This summer, camps reached 251 children in all 6 communities of the region. Please take time to read the
