Deadline Extended: Enrolment Committee Workshop
The Enrolment Committee works at the very heart of the Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA). Its members have knowledge of families within their respective communities and across the Inuvialuit Settlement Region that span many generations. Among other things, these members are responsible for ensuring the integrity of the membership under the Inuvialuit Trust in accordance with the IFA. It is essential that this unique experience and expertise is passed on and carried on in the interest of Inuvialuit.
The Enrolment Division is holding a workshop in April 2018 to share knowledge about the mandate, role and functions of the IRC Enrolment Committee to future generations of Committee members. This workshop will be targeted toward selected beneficiaries who have a demonstrated interest in participating on this important Committee at some point in the future. It is the intention to select one beneficiary from each community who demonstrates a sufficient level of community knowledge and interest to participate in the workshop.
If you wish to be considered for this workshop, please submit the following no later than February 28, 2018:
- Your resume detailing any experience or interests that would be valuable to the work of the Enrolment Committee; and,
- A one-page letter explaining why you are interested in attending the workshop.
