ISR Communities: Inuvik, Tuktoyaktuk, Aklavik, Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour, & Ulukhaktok

The IRC invites applications for a committed, organized and self-motivated individuals to fill the positions of Camp Staff in our Inuvialuit Summer Camps, which are being held in all six ISR communities. These camps aim to provide campers with a safe and supportive environment where they take part in many types of fun and educational activities including healthy recreational and cultural pursuits, arts and crafts, sports, field trips, and more.



  • Staff Orientation: June 6-10th, 2022 and another set-up day on June 30th, 2022
  • Summer Camp: July 4-29th, 2022

Pay: $20.00-$28.00/hour depending on relevant experience and returning staff status



  • Be at least 16 years old, mature, punctual, responsible and able to work with little supervision
  • Enjoy working with young children. Previous experience is a bonus
  • Experience or interest in the fields of education, teaching or community programming
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Be familiar with local agencies, leaders, culture and activities in the community
  • Possess (or be able to complete) a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
