Food Basket Application to email email@example.com
Fill and send to firstname.lastname@example.org by email. You will receive an auto-reply which means that IRC has received your household information. Please allow at least a week after applying for IRC staff to process the applications.
As part of IRC’s COVID-19 Support Plan announced on April 15, 2020, IRC will provide vouchers during this time for Inuvialuit households in need to go towards their bulk food purchases and cleaning supplies. The Form to access Food Basket support is now available to fill and send to email@example.com
This is for those households in need only, priority will be given to:
- Low-income households
- Those with loss of income due to COVID-19
- Households who have not received support through Child First Initiative or On The Land Support Funds.
On the form above, you will be asked to supply contact information and list the members of your household. You will need to answer a question of if you are currently receiving income assistance and if you have experienced loss of income as a result of COVID-19. You will also be asked your store preference for food and cleaning supplies.
The application process is open to- and exactly the same- for those outside the ISR. If you are outside the ISR, IRC's Health & Wellness staff will work with those successful applicants for best way of providing Food Baskets, so that those outside the ISR will be able to access basic food and cleaning supplies at your various stores.
Inuvialuit Elders have received emergency support this month and will be getting further, and separate, Elder support from IRC during COVID so they do NOT need to worry about applying for Household Food Baskets.
