Patrick Gruben Appointed Chair Of Inuvialuit Development Corporation

The Inuvialuit Regional Corporation Board of Directors have appointed Patrick Gruben as the Chair of Inuvialuit Development CorporationThis position took effect on July 4, 2017.

Patrick has 10 years of experience serving as a Director on the IDC Board, including the last five as Vice-Chair.

As the Chair of IDC, Patrick will lead the IDC board and subsidiaries, ensuring that good governance practices are in place and observed. He will be fully engaged in the essential function of IDC, including day-to-day oversight and governance of Canadian North, Weldco-Beales Mfg., IDC Properties, Stantons and Aklak Air Ltd. He will represent IDC as its public face and chief communicator to IRC, beneficiaries, the business community and within community, regional and national forums.

The Presidents of Canadian North and Weldco-Beales Mfg., and the General Manager of IDC, will report to him.
