Precautionary measures may cause limits to services

To limit potential exposure to COVID-19, IRC has moved forward on precautionary measures. We are closely monitoring information from Public Health Agency of Canada and the NWT Chief Public Health Officer to inform action.

As of March 11, IRC has directed all staff returning from recent travel or anyone experiencing any symptoms to remain at home and to contact Public Health for guidance if they have questions.  IRC has restricted non-essential business travel outside of the Inuvialuit Settlement Region until further notice, while encouraging staff to conduct ongoing business by other available means such as tele and videoconferencing.
IRC hopes for patience and thanks beneficiaries for their understanding that services may be limited during this time.
