UPDATED: Traditional Knowledge Community Tour Planned For November

Traditional Knowledge Community Tour will visit all six communities in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region throughout November.

As part of the Regional Strategic Environmental Assessment, Inuvialuit Regional Corporation is leading a Traditional Knowledge Community Tour that will take place throughout November and visit all six Inuvialuit Settlement Region communities.

Presentations and discussions at each stop of the tour will focus on three projects: The Importance of Ice, The Key Species of the Beaufort, and The Role of Harvest.

Directors of the Hunters and Trappers Committee, Community Corporation, and Elders Committee in each community are invited to take part in the Traditional Knowledge Community Tour. If you have any questions or concerns that would be relevant, please share them with an attending director so they can be brought forward during the presentation and discussion.
