Aboriginal Language Revitalization

The Aboriginal Language Revitalization project works to identify Uummarmiutun, Sallirmiutun, and Kangiryuarmiutun languages within the communities and to support the preservation, use and revitalization of the three dialects spoken throughout the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (ISR).

The project conducts regional programming within the ISR to help meet its goals of preservation, use and revitalization.
