Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program

Part of IRC's Health & Wellness Division, the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) is funded by Health Canada with the following goals: 

  1. More babies will be born healthy and have healthy birth weights
  2. The health of pregnant women will be improved
  3. More mothers will breastfeed their babies and for longer periods of time
  4. There will be more partnerships and collaboration among pregnant women, families, community groups, nutritionists, health professionals and governments
